This policy explains how Athar Advertising Agency L.L.C. (“Athar”, “we”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit athar-ag.com or contact us.
1. Who we are

2. Data we collect
a) Data you give us through the website forms: your name, email address, phone number, company or brand name, the service you need, your budget range and your message.
b) Visit source data: when you send a form, we store with it the page where you entered the website, the website that referred you, any campaign details, and the date of your first visit. This data does not include your name or contact details.
c) Usage data through Google Analytics: the pages you visit, how long you stay, clicks on contact links (WhatsApp and phone), your device and browser type, and your approximate region.
d) WhatsApp: when you tap the WhatsApp button, you move to the WhatsApp app and the chat is covered by WhatsApp’s privacy policy. We only see what you send us in that chat.
3. Why we use your data
- To answer your enquiry and prepare your quote.
- To deliver the service if you work with us.
- To understand which pages and channels bring enquiries, and to improve our website and marketing.
- To protect the website from spam and misuse.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send you marketing messages without your consent.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The website works without them, but we will not know where your enquiry came from.
5. Who we share your data with
Only with service providers working for us, and only as much as they need to do their work:
- Hostinger: website and email hosting.
- Google: Google Analytics, and a copy of enquiry notifications delivered to an agency Gmail inbox.
- Cloudflare: domain name services and website protection.
- WhatsApp (Meta): when you contact us on WhatsApp.
- Website security tools: these may process your IP address to block attacks and spam.
We may disclose data when a competent authority requires it by law.
6. Where your data is stored
Enquiries are stored in the website database at our hosting provider and in the agency’s email. Some service providers may have servers outside the United Arab Emirates.
7. How long we keep data
- Enquiries sent through forms and email: two years from the date they are sent, then deleted.
- Google Analytics data: event data for two months and user data for 14 months, per the account settings.
- Visit source cookies: as shown in section 4.
- If you become a client: we keep contract and invoice records for as long as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You may ask to:
- access your data;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- object to or restrict its use;
- receive a copy of it.
Send your request to info@athar-ag.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will reply as soon as possible.
We process data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and with the applicable rules in the countries where we provide our services.
9. How we protect your data
- The website runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- Access to enquiries is limited to the Athar team.
- We use security tools and regular backups.
- Even so, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
10. Minors
The website is intended for companies and business owners. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Links to other websites
The website may link to other websites, such as our clients’ websites or social media platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when needed and will change the “Last updated” date at the top of the page.
